Certana provides a content authenticity verification platform that enables users to verify the authenticity of digital assets using advanced fingerprinting, blockchain technology, and zero-knowledge proofs. The platform includes:

  • Image upload and verification capabilities
  • C2PA manifest generation and validation
  • Solana blockchain integration for immutable records
  • Zero-knowledge proof generation for privacy-preserving verification
  • API access for developers and enterprises

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account password and login credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others
  • Not upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is illegal, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content

Certana and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Certana, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain all rights to the digital assets you upload to Certana. By uploading content, you grant Certana a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and analyze your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CERTANA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Certana's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for using the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CERTANA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Certana does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

7. Blockchain Transactions

Irreversibility

Blockchain transactions are permanent and irreversible. Once a commitment is recorded on the Solana blockchain, it cannot be undone.

Transaction Costs

Blockchain transactions may incur network fees. You are responsible for understanding and accepting these costs before initiating any blockchain operation.

Network Risks

Blockchain networks are subject to technical issues, congestion, and potential security vulnerabilities. Certana is not responsible for network failures or delays.

8. API Usage and Developer Terms

If you use Certana's API, you agree to:

  • Use API keys solely for accessing the Certana Services
  • Not sell, transfer, or share your API keys
  • Comply with rate limits and usage quotas
  • Not use the API for any illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Obtain appropriate user consent before using the API on behalf of others
  • Monitor your API usage and associated costs

9. Termination

Certana may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. You remain liable for any outstanding charges or obligations incurred prior to termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

Certana reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted to this page. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of revised Terms means you accept and agree to the changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Certana operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
